Job Summary: If you are chosen for our team, you will work hand in hand with customers providing guidance with material specifications, dimension, and design assistance. You will learn how to work with the team to provide custom small to large projects using core making air set equipment, as well as, a wide range of quality molding machines in a setting with computer-controlled production and order entry job tracking for ensured on time delivery.
•Assist in building heats and under the heating process and equipment for building molds
•Assist in assembling quality cores, as a first step in the production process, by prioritizing core production to align with output plans and by constructing cores to achieve an excellent casting finish.
•Assisting in assembling and preparing quality molds by packing green sand and/or air set sand around a pattern using multiple methods.
•Assisting and directing the pouring of iron into the molds in a safe manner.
•Assist in removing castings from their molds
•Assist in the assessment of the quality of the molds by identifying deficiencies and damage prior to the grinding process.
•Assist in assessing the quality and workability of the sand supplied for the process.
•Preparing castings for shipping by cleaning and palletizing each casting using equipment to set the casting and grind out imperfections.
•Keeping all areas of the facility clean and safe.
•Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
•Ability to learn core making, molding and use grinding equipment in a safe and effective manner.
•The ability to read and interpret blueprints to ensure the product meet customer specifications
•The ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize to maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment.

•The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
